Highland Ridge Farm is our little piece of the Blue Ridge. What started as a dream became something much bigger: a working cattle farm, a labor of love, and now, a place to gather and celebrate life’s most meaningful moments.
In 2021 my three boys and I bought this farm. It had been abandoned for over seven years and was in dire need of care. We poured ourselves into restoring it. From renovating The Cottage, replacing fences, painting barns, to mowing countless acres, we brought life back to every corner.
From the moment we first walked the land, we were taken by its quiet beauty. You'll experience sunsets that stop you in your tracks, hills that stretch to the horizon, and a peacefulness you feel the instant you arrive. We knew the views were too special to keep to ourselves, so the vision for Highland Ridge as a wedding and event venue was born.
Every detail of the venue carries a piece of our story. We used reclaimed wood from the farm’s old fences and buildings to create the built-in bar, bathroom vanities, doors, and accent walls throughout the space. This handcrafted touch not only honors the history of the land but also makes Highland Ridge feel warm, personal, and one-of-a-kind.
